Created on the pages of a pre-loved book* my blackout poems tell hidden stories found within the exsisting text. They are all hand drawn using archival ink pens and initialled on the front.

The text in this poem reads:

I’m ashamed to say I once simply refused to believe I was lovable

The book page measures 150mm x 233mm (6” x 9.25”) approx and it comes in a cello wrap to protect the artwork. UK postage is included in the price.

The photograph of the page mounted and framed is for illustration purposes only. The aperture of the mount used in the photograph is approx 5” x 7” a size readily available on the high street.

*As the paper used is from a pre-loved book each piece may vary slightly in colour and the paper may not be perfect. Some are slightly yellowed in colour (esp. around the edges), they may have rippled, rough edges where they have been torn from the book and bent corners from the books usual wear and tear. I do only use paper I am happy with and that isn’t significantly damaged. I can provide more images if you require.
